Which brings more profit: Selling with a REALTOR® or by yourself?

A lot of people consider selling their home by themselves because of the fees involved with using a REALTOR®.  However, research shows that using a REALTOR® to sell your home will actually bring you more money over all.  According to NAR, For Sale By Owner (FSBO), median house sales were $39,000 under that which were agent assisted.

Here are a few good question to ask yourself if you are thinking of selling your house by yourself:

"Do you have a lot of extra time to market your home and do all the work to meet and greet properly? Are you versed in local trends on the housing market and know the latest regulations for closing a sale? Do you have a list of potential buyers ready to view your home?"
