How does walkability effect Harrisonburg?  For most of Harrisonburg, Walkability does not make a big difference.  Most people do not walk to work, restaurants, coffee shops, or grocery stores.  WalkScore.com rates Harrisonburg as a 43 (Car dependant town).However, I would argue that the revitalization of downtown Harrisonburg has helped contribute to the desirability of walkable neighborhoods.
