This blog is part of my Developments in the Harmony Heights Area series. Click here to see what other blogs I've written and what will be coming. VMRC currently is working on two projects to better provide quality of care to its residents.
Woodland Park Woodland Park is located on the corner of Park Wood Dr and Virginia Ave. The current project is building 5 community living buildings to the 3 that were built around 4 years ago. These facilities are built to replace the Oak Lee facility. Each new building will house 11 residents. There is also a clubhouse being built for the Woodland Park community. The design of these buildings is intended to innovate traditional nursing homes and to be environmentally friendly. Quadruplex The quadruplex being built off of Park Road is going in the place of some older cottages that were there previously. They will be about 1400 sqft with an open and modern design. The exterior units will have a basement and the interior units will have lofts. The project is the pilot to start renovating various older cottages in the Park Village community. The quadruplex will offer apartments for a to be determined function. A Momentum Earthworks Project
