Market Report: October 2015

Overall, sales are a little down when compared to this time last year.  However, it is important to keep in mind that the selling season was a little delayed last year; possibly related to sever winter weather late into spring.  This delayed onset of the selling season could be correlated with the higher sales we saw in fall and winter.  

In general, October sales were still on the rise if you look at the trends for the past 4 years.  Furthermore, the 2015 year to date sales are still higher than at this time in 2014.

Highlights:
​-The annual pace of sales is still 5% higher at the end of October 2015 than at the end of October 2014.
-The year to date median sales price at the end of October 2015 is 4% higher than it was at the end of October 2014.
