Market Report: July 2015

July 2015 saw a slight reduction in sales when compared to July of 2014.  However, 2015 still remains a really strong year for sales.  With the increase in contracts, we could likely see August and September have better sale statistics when compared to 2014. 

Highlights:

• Year to date home sales are still up 6% this year as compared to this time last year despite the current month's decline.
  
• The median days on the market, for July 2015, is down by 11% when compared to July 2014.
• The year to date median sales price, for 2015, is 7% higher when comparing  2014 at this time. 
• July 2015 contracts are up 5% when compared to July of 2014.

• July house sales, in 2015, are down by 16% when compared to July 2014.

• The median sales price for July 2015 is down by 4% when compared to July 2014.

• The median days on the market, for July 2015, is down by 11% when compared to July 2014.
  

• Year to date home sales are still up 6%  this year as compared to this time last year despite the current month's decline.

• The year to date median sales price, for 2015, is 7% higher when comparing  2014 at this time. 

• This year so far we've seen the median days on the  market fall 11% when compared to this time last year. 

• ContracThe inventory in July 2015 was down 9% when compared to July of 2014.

• July 2015 contracts are up 5% when compared to July of 2014.

• The annual pace of contracts for 2015 is 6% higher than at this time in 2014.
