Overall, we are still seeing a sellers market. If you have been paying attention to the real estate market, you will have noticed that houses are selling quickly and that there has been little on the market.
In May, we saw a record amount of contracts. So, logically we saw a record number of sales in June. It will be interesting to see if this trickles over into July as well. The June contracts were a little lower than in 2017. So, that may counter balance July's sales.
Since June had a record number of sales, we are now out performing 2017 in home sales. Again, this trend may not continue since June 2018 did not have more contracts than 2017. The median sales price is up and the median days on the market is down. So, if you are considering selling your house, it is a great time to do so.
